Respite called today and asked me if we would be willing to do emergency placements. Since we haven't been getting any calls for respite I decided that we could try it out and see how great the need is. This is the second time they've ask about that.
My concerns are still the lack of medical and behavioral information, but we have the right to say no if I don't think the child will be a good fit for us. Our distance to the hospital is still a major concern as well.
I'm curious to see how much they will utilize us.
