2013!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!  May we all be blessed this year!!

This year I plan to work on being more positive, more grateful.

For the last few months I've subscribed to Notes From the Universe.  Although it may be a little cheesy I have to admit that it's a great way to start the day on a positive note.

Each year I look at the people I surround myself with and ask myself how they've made me a better person.  Time is precious and friendship is precious.  I'm going to spend even less energy on those that don't build me up.  Everyone has someone they know that sucks your energy, leaves you feeling irritated or just not appreciated.  I'm going to make space in my life for positive healthy relationships by not letting the other "friendships" and family relationships eat up my free time or my energy.

Being grateful: I've improved this greatly, but I would like to continue it even more.  I thank God and the universe every day for my life, for Farmie and for my health.  At night before going to bed I don't necessarily pray, but I go through a mental list of everything I'm thankful for.  That has helped me this year.  If I ever pray for anything it's just for God to have mercy on me.  I've learned that many things in life are completely out of my control.  I can only control how I react.

I know I can be so indecisive throughout this whole process, but nothing about IVF is black and white.  In the end, I really feel this is a lengthy life lesson that has taught me so much about life and myself.

That you to everyone that has stuck through this with me this year.  Thank you for all of your support and your encouraging comments.  May you all be blessed this year, especially Lanie, Amber and Alissa with their new family members!!  And B, thank you for your friendship and somehow sticking with me through this crazy emotional climb!
